About Me
I've been interested in capturing visuals from a young age, specifically photography. I love being challenged with a concept and then being able to bring the concept to life as a visual piece. After teaching myself how to use a dslr my passion snowballed from there, using online resources such as YouTube and blog articles consuming as much information about photography as I possibly could. Discovering new techniques, such as different lighting set ups, aswell as photo editing software Adobe Lightroom.
My time at Clacton Coastal Academy was expanded when I chose to continue studying at the sixth form where I completed A-level Media studies finishing with D*D*D*. The course helped me expand on my knowledge of cameras and videography looking at different NLE's like final cut pro, which led me to discovering more extensive software's outside of my studies such as Adobe Premier pro. I also took part in the BFI academy which influenced my choices of course at higher education.
Due to me having a vast enough knowledge of photography and cameras, I wanted to expand on my visual creativity, choosing digital film production at the university of Suffolk allowed me to have access to cameras and software's which meae a industry requirement. I was also able to collaborate as part of a crew with others on the course and has led to pieces, most notable "Vodka. Before Lunch" a short film which I co-wrote, assisted directed, and sound recording on. During my studies ive also done external jobs for clients, as well as co-founding a production company, these jobs cover both photography and videography. Ive been a camera assistant on a Fabio Wardley x Adidas shoot using a Blackmagic design, and photography work for football club Trimley Red Devils creating graphics for the teams social medias.
